Rover Base Station
I created this base station to simplify control of the rover. Previously, we used a personal laptop connected to all the peripherals through the USB hub, which created problems with versioning, package compatibility, etc.

Implementation
The heart of the base station is a raspberry pi 5. It is connected to a powered USB hub to provide enough connectivity for all the devices. The base station can be powered either through a barrel jack on the front, or there is a spot for a lipo battery inside. The lid is held on with four small neodymium magnets, making it easy to remove. I designed and wired the base station myself. The biggest challenge was laying out all the components, since the base station's size was limited to the bed size of my 3D printer.
